This is why we provide a discount of 10% off our standard labour charges for your first job for senior citizens. Gas

All work carried out with gas must be done by a CORGI registered engineer, and therefore we only use CORGI registered engineers for gas work. There are very few exceptions to this, and if you are in any doubt you should consult The Gas Safety (Installations and Use) Regulations 1998 (click here)

Breakdowns seem to have a habit of happening when it's the most inconvenient. We provide prompt reliable service to put faults right.

Servicing

Most gas appliances should be serviced at least once a year. This ensures several thing, most important of which is gas safety. All kinds of faults can develop with a gas appliance which is not serviced regularly, some of which are very dangerous. Also the manufacturer of the appliance will almost always state that the appliance should be serviced once a year. The other thing to note is that the life of the appliance could be extended by being serviced regularly by a qualified professionals. Landlords Gas Safety Check

It is a legal requirement of the landlord of rented accommodation to have appliances checked for safety at least once a year. We are able to carry out the appropriate safety checks to ensure that your appliances are safe, and that you are not putting your tenant's lives in danger by not doing so. We can also at your request service the appliances at the same time as carrying out the checks, which we would recommend, as in the event of problem you have double covered yourself. Commercial Gas Work

We have on the team commercially trained engineers who are able to carry out gas work in a commercial environment. This service we provide on a day-rate basis. Estimates for this service are provided on a pro-rata basis of the daily rate for time spent preparing the estimate for you. Please contact us with any of your commercial gas requirements.

Drain Clearance & Blockages

We are experienced in resolving blockages and problems anywhere within your waste water system. These problems can be very smelly, and we would advise that you have the problem seen to as soon as possible, as usually the problem will only get worse. Please contact us if you need to have a problem with your drains fixed.

New installations

Drains come to the end of their natural life or it could be that you have a new property that you require installation of drains. We can help you plan the drainage so that you will have a trouble free drainage system for many years to come.

Central heating systems are relied upon heavily in winter months and should be serviced once a year.

Boiler replacement

In certain situations, it is sensible to only replace the boiler in a central heating system. It may be that other parts of the system are functioning correctly and other components don't need replacing, or it may simply be that you do not wish to have all the work done in one go. Whatever the case, we will carefully look at the existing system and propose what installation we recommend.

Complete replacement system

In this situation we will examine the existing system, and make our recommendation on replacement system. This is of course more costly than just replacing the boiler, but may prove more cost effective in the long run as all components are new and there shouldn't be a need for any replacements for a good long time.

New installation

This situation is rarer these days as most properties have central heating installed. Never-the-less, we will carefully examine the property and your requirements and make our recommendation for the best system to install for your property

Boiler breakdown

In cold weather boiler breakdown can be very inconvenient as we tend to rely on the central heating very heavily during winter months. The problem could be a simple one which we can fix quickly, or for older boilers this may mean the end of it's life. In any case we would aim to get your heating back on as soon as is practically possible.

Radiators not heating up

There are various problems that may cause a radiator not to heat up when the rest of the system is working OK. Usually this is a fairly simple problem for us to fix. If radiators are patchy (hot and cold in different areas) then this could either indicate sludge deposits or air in the radiator. Whatever the problem we are able to rectify the problem for you.

No hot water

Even in the warmer months breakdown of hot water can be just as inconvenient as breakdown of heating. We are skilled at indentifying faults, and rectifying them.

Gas Singlepoint & Multipoint, Stored and Instantaneous

There are various options available for heating water to one tap (singlepoint) or to more than one tap (multipoint) than are fired by gas. Based on your requirements we can suggest the best product - please contact us.

Electric Singlepoint & Multipoint, Stored and Instantaneous

Where gas isn't available or you simply prefer electrically heated water, we can provide a range of solutions for hot water needs from simple instantaneous singlepoint 'handwash' systems, right up to stored pressurised systems for whole house. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Additional bathrooms

Some properties have enough space to have additional bathrooms installed. Some customers opt to have en-suite shower rooms or wet rooms in there properties, and these all provide valuable additions either for you and your family or for the resale value of you property.

Increase property value

We have other customers who have converted unused storage cupboards into shower room, and then decommissioned the existing bathroom. This allows the property to benefit from an extra bedroom and could considerable increase the value of your property if done by professionally by us.

Dishwashers & Washing Machines

Additional plumbing for dishwashers and washing machines is usually quite straightforward to implement. Please contact us for an estimate.

Waste disposal

A waste disposal is usually connected to a second bowl on a kitchen sink. A waste disposal unit uses electricity, so a circuit needs to be added for it. Usually waste disposal unit is connected to the 1/2 bowl of a kitchen sink.

Water softeners & filtration

There are various options for softening water in hard water areas such as London. They range from the relatively inexpensive to the superior whole house type systems. If you require softened water, then please call us for a solution.

As with softening there are various options for filtration ranging from a simple filter for drinking water to whole house systems and reverse osmosis units.

Gas Cooker/Hob

As with any gas appliance, gas hobs and cookers should only be worked on by CORGI registered engineers. We can install new appliances for you, and in certain situations move appliances from one location to another. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
